BRANDING & WEB DESIGN FAQ

  • Branding services will require an upfront investment of your time in a 1.5 to 2 hour brand strategy meeting where I will interview you about your business and goals. From there, I will need your attention about once a week until project completion to provide email feedback. You will be quite involved in the process, but the goal is for me to take the bulk of the workload.

Web design services require more information upfront, including a 1.5 hour web strategy meeting, and often I will have ‘homework’ for you to compile all of the unique information I will need to include on your website. Ex: professional photos, graphics, logo files, service information/menus, product photos and pricing, etc. You will also need to be available once a week to provide feedback.

Each project is outlined aheadof time with a project timeline so you know exactly when to expect items from me, and I from you.

  • It can take from 5 to 10 weeks to complete brand identity design depending on the package chosen. Please allow time within your business for this development period and expect to be available for correspondence throughout this collaborative process.

  • Please visit the ‘services’ page to download branding and web design pricing and additional information on each service.

  • There are payment plan options! You are welcome to choose up to four scheduled payments to complete your balance. Projects valued under $1000 are only eligible for up to 3 payment installments. Please be aware that these payments can affect the timeline of your project, as the final payment is required before designs are delivered to you.

  • Brand strategy allows the designer to dig deeper with the client to get to the core beliefs and motivations of the brand and its customers. It allows for market research, building an ideal client profile, and mapping out the proper use of the branding so that clients can function in alignment with the design long after the designer is gone. Clients are provided an in-depth analysis of their brand personality, industry positioning and ideal customer profile. Trust me- it’s a HUGE asset!

  • All branding package options (excluding Branding Design Intensives) include a primary logo and a secondary logo. The primary logo is the full iteration of your logo that will be used most often. A secondary logo is a more condensed version that can be used when the primary logo does not fit or feel right in different contexts. This allows more versatility for your brand.

  • No, this is not a service I offer or an area of design and strategy that I specialize in. The kind of brand strategy I offer may very well help you have a better understanding of how to speak, look, and present your band on social media, but I do not craft plans for social media strategy. I also do not offer a service where I design custom social media graphics. However, my Brand Support service can include the creation of a branded social media graphic template that you can customize yoursef in Canva.

  • I use Squarespace website builder. I find Squarespace is accessible to non-designers and gives me tons of versatility as your designer to create dynamic, custom sites. Squarespace has affordable plans for large scale and smaller businesses as well as business management features that could help save your business money on excessive apps for your day-to-day business functions. Schedule a consultation to see if my web design services using Squarespace are a good fit for your website.

  • Yes. If you have an existing domain that has not yet been linked to a website, or needs to be transferred from a previous website to your new website, I can take over that process for you. If you haven’t purchased a domain and/or have no clue what I’m yapping about, trust that I will handle it so you dont have to!

  • Every business is in a unique stage of development and if this is where you are at currently, you are not alone! If you haven’t checked out my more cost-efficient branding and web design services, check out my design intensives.

You can always email me to ask for other designer recommendations, although I cannot say what their pricing structure will be.

I highly recommend purchasing Canva Pro if you need to DIY your branding and design needs until your biz takes off. I recommend that you keep your sights on investing in a designer or consultant of some kind to polish your branding, strategy and web design when you are able.

MURAL & HAND PAINTED SIGNAGE FAQ

  • To get pricing options for your project, visit ‘inquire’ and either schedule a consultation call or fill out the form. For mural projects, I need an overview of your mural idea, measurements of the wall or design area to be painted, and ideally also a picture of the wall(s). After receiving these items and discussing via email or phone call, I will provide a custom proposal with pricing options for your project which will be emailed to you.

  • Payment plans are available in up to 4 installments. Please note that the timeline of your project could be impacted by your payment plan, as final installment is due upon completion.

  • Absolutely. I am based in Oklahoma but I am happy to make the trip to other states or rural counties. Yes, travel costs will be a factor in your project pricing, but it will be included in the quote you will receive in your project proposal. No surprise fees.

  • It begins with a design consultation. Then you receive a proposal with a moodboard and pricing options. Once you choose an option, you will receive three design sketches. After you choose the desired design, you get up to two revisions to get the colors and design just right. You will also receive a mockup of your design on the wall before application if I am provided a picture of the space.

  • Yes, absolutely. I can accurately and precisely hand paint your logo as well as many other kinds of signage, such as your store hours, services, mission statement, etc on almost any surface you can think of.

  • I am happy to apply existing artwork or logos to any surface so long as you have the rights to reproduce that work on your property. For instance, if it is another artists work, you must have the licensing rights to reproduce or the artist’s written consent. Hand-painted logos are always welcome!

  • I sure can. While I am steering away from the more decorative seasonal type of window art, I am all about creating custom artwork that is designed to last, with your brand in mind. This also includes logos, business information like services, website, etc.

  • It depends on the location of your mural! Exterior murals are painted with exterior house paint with weather durable protection. Interior murals are painted with interior paint, usually matte to satin finishes.

  • I do. The process remains the same. It is required that I visit the property first if possible to ensure safe working conditions and plan for the necessary equipment.
